Changing Pointe YOUTH MINISTRY

Alternating Thursdays beginning 9/25 | After a meal, the group will come together for a film viewing of a selected Darkroom Faith episode. These powerful short films highlight real-life challenges and faith questions that matter to today’s youth, creating natural entry points for discussion. Following the viewing, participants will transition into small breakout groups led by youth leaders. These smaller settings encourage open conversation, honest questions, and personal reflection on the film’s themes while connecting faith to everyday life.

The session will then transition back to the large group for a time of sharing key takeaways and closing in prayer, leaving students with encouragement and a sense of community. The first one or two sessions will be intentionally slow-paced, prioritizing rapport-building and foundational relationships before diving into more structured discussions. As trust grows, future sessions will tackle deeper topics, helping students grow in both faith and understanding in a safe, welcoming space.

Date - Every other Thursday - Our first gathering will be Thursday September 25th at 5:30 pm.

Ages - 13 - 19

Location - The Pointe Church - 243 Hurley Avenue Kingston NY, 12404

Changing Pointe Facilitators - Benjamin & Reagan Liberatore, with guest contributors from The Pointe
